We’re finding it tricky to pick a winner. All the entries so far have been so creative. Here’s today’s entries:
Replica of one of the Pyramids of Egypt made completely out of sugar!! It weighs over 10kg!
The Bosphorus Bridge in Istanbul! Made from paper, wood, and straws.
The Statue of liberty in New York, made out of clay!
The Big Ben Clock tower, in London. Made from cardboard and spaghetti!!
The Burj Khalifa in Dubai, made out of pasta!

ACETNS annual STEAM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Maths) week is taking place from 15-19 October. Our theme this year is Amazing Structures, the children will be engaging in a variety of fun activities in the areas of STEAM. Here’s your chance to get involved at home.
AMAZING STRUCTURES PHOTO COMPETITION
We want you to use a variety of materials to create an AMAZING STRUCTURE. For example you could build the Eiffel Tower using lollipop sticks or the Taj Mahal using play dough.
What we are looking for:
- Creative use of materials
- Likeness to the original structure
To enter, work on your projects at home and email a photo of your AMAZING STRUCTURE to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your name, class and teacher when sending your entry.
Entries will be accepted from 9am Monday 15th October until 9am Thursday 18th October. All entries will be uploaded to the school website www.acetns.ie and winners will be announced at assembly on Friday.
