We have a very active student body in the school always willing to help organize and improve our school.
Recently the school with the help of the student council raised over €1000 for Crumlins children hospital.
Throughout the week various activities were organised by the student council:
On Tuesday children and teachers were chosen to do ‘sponsored silences’.
On Wednesday there was a skipathon, where every class got the opportunity to skip in the hall by donating 50c.
On Friday children and teachers wore in their Funny/Christmas jumpers.
Also we are very lucky to have such a talented teaching staff, as Collette, Joanne, CJ, and Gary also busked(sang and played instruments) at the school gates each afternoon at hometime to raise money for Crumlin. There was a great atmosphere around the school and some of the children and teachers joined in with the few Irish dancing steps they knew.
The parents association also organised a movie night, where children brought their pillows and duvets and wore their pajamas to school and a cake sale was also organised.
