We are learning Lámh in our school!! Lámh is a type of communicating using signs and gestures. Here is Lesson 2 with Colette and some children from Junior infants.

A big thank you for all the support and amazing creativity of our parents and children at ACETNS’s first ever craft fair.

We here in ACETNS are very passionate about the variety of languages that are spoken in our school.

We as a school have decided to learn a new one and it’s called Lámh.

Lámh  means hand in irish, and it is a simple Irish sign language used to help people communicate.

Say ‘Hello’ and make this Lámh sign when greeting people
