5th Class and 3rd Class will begin their lessons after the midterm break.

Huge thanks to all the parents involved in getting the school ready for Halloween. The place looks great!

Well done to all the boys that turned up at 8am for the inhouse football match. There was a great turn out for the girls’ game as well, however, the weather wasn’t favourable despite the girls’ best attempts to convince us otherwise!

Today we had a fire drill in school. The boys and girls in 2nd Class prepared a video outlining what we should do when the fire alarm goes off.

Maths Week 2023 kicks off for ACETNS on Friday during our Junior Assembly. Events will take place all over Ireland, highlighting the beauty of maths and promoting positive attitudes towards maths. 405,758 pupils and counting are registered to take part in Maths Week 2023 including the 440 children from ACETNS!

We will be hunting for shapes around our school, solving giant puzzles, checking out MathsWeekTV as well as solving simultaneous equations using emojis!

Music Club will be returning tomorrow, the 11th of October, for all who signed up for either choir or guitar classes. Keep an eye on the school website and blog for further updates on music club performances and activities.

Well done to Paddy’s 5th Class and Conor’s 6th Class who won Senior Line of the Week. These classes tried their best during line up time all week. They got extra time with PE equipment of their choice as a reward today. Well done.

The dates for swimming lessons in the National Aquatic Centre for this school year have been finalised. 1st to 6th Class shall participate in lessons. Well done to 6th Class who are nearly finished their block.
