This year we decided to have a whole school Pyjama Day to celebrate World Book Day. The boys and girls were also asked to bring in their favourite storybooks and many created props to accompany these books. Spot prize easter eggs were awarded to all classes.

Maynooth Bookshop kindly donated a fantastic hamper of books which was awarded to the overall winner; Suhita from 6th Class for her Storybook Prop Creation of a robot from the novel Spaceboy!

A phenomenal amount of effort and creativity was put in by students, their parents and all the A.C.E.T.N.S Staff to celebrate the importance of reading. Across the school, pupils enjoyed reading breakfasts, DEAR Time , Buddy Reading, Storybook Presentations, Story themed games and crafts . Well done to all on making the day so special!!!
