Our boys and girls badminton teams competed in the All Ireland Championships in Balldoyle yesterday. This was following on from the Leinster Championships which our girls team and the boys team got to the semi finals. Both teams have been trainings before school and during lunch breaks for the past few weeks. We had a blue and purple day (our school colours) and a guard of honour to wish them well on Wednesday.

This must have worked because both teams performed brilliantly on the day. Our boys team were narrowly beaten in the Quarters Finals while our girls team went on to win the competition and become All Ireland Champions. What an achievement, we are so proud of you all. There was no homework tonight for the school as a celebration. Congrats to all involved and their trainers Paddy C and Paddy D.
