6th class monthly trip

The ACETNS 6th classes have been going on one outing a month since September. Each month their outing has been local and within walking distance, until yesterday!

Yesterday was a very exciting day! Both 6th classes got the train from Adamstown to Heuston Station. They then walked from Heuston station to The Phoenix Park. They had fun playing in the playground  beside the People’s Flower Garden. And they had their small break there before going to Phoenix Park bike rental. There they each got a bike and a helmet and they got the opportunity to explore the park in groups. The groups saw Áras an Uachtaráin, the US Ambassador’s residence, the Papal Cross, the Magazine fort, the Wellington monument and even caught a glimpse of some deer! They had  their packed lunch in the park before returning to ACETNS by train. It was a great day out and a brilliant opportunity for 6th class to use their cycling skills and explore. They were so well behaved and a credit to the school. We are very proud of them!
