Well done to all the 2nd class children who competed in their first soccer tournament. Some great skills, teamwork and even better GOALS were on display during yard time over the month of March.
A HUGE thank you has to go to the 6th class soccer committee who organised the whole event for 2nd class.
Well done to all of the ACETNS students who participated in The Big Sing show last night in the National Stadium.
Wow! What an amazing experience!
All of the ACETNS students were well behaved on the bus, in rehearsal/ sound check and throughout the break. It was a great opportunity to see what it is like backstage at a professional show.
It was a long day but each student did their best and approached the event with a great attitude.
When it came to showtime each child lit up the stadium with their enthusiasm and brilliant singing!
There was a truly diverse set list. The children sang in English, Ukrainian and as Gaeilge. They also performed sign language while singing. There was a mixture of songs from movies, classic hits, Latin beats and music from the charts.
It was a pleasure to sing with the other schools in the choir, the live musicians, Jake Carter, Pamela Uba, Sean Gilligan, Niamh Walsh and the two special guest young performers: Kelsie Fox and Ella Kelly.
It was fabulous to see the children’s commitment, focus, and months of hard work come together on this special night.
It was a spectacular night of fun and excitement that the children will always remember.
Excellent work children – we are so proud of all of you!
3rd, 5th and 6th class had another visit today from the Mobile Library. It is a fantastic resource and thanks to South Dublin County Council for their continued support this year.
Exciting times ahead! 138 children from 2nd – 6th class from ACETNS will be performing in The Big Sing Show on TuesdayMarch 28th at 7.30pm – 9.15pm in The National Stadium.
The students have put in months of work rehearsing the songs and they are excited to perform as part of TheBig Sing Choir.
The Big Sing Choir will be made up of 500 students from different primary schools on the night. The Big Sing Choir will be performing at 12 different points throughout the show.
The Big Sing Show will be hosted by Jake Carter & Pamela Uba, who will also be performing on the night. There will be some other special guest performers too!
Today Ailbhe’s senior infants went to St. Catherine’s Park for our first Forest School session. We had so much fun exploring the woodland. We climbed, made dens and created potions. We can’t wait to go back.
Well done to the 47 pupils in First Class who completed their first swimming lesson in the National Aquatic Centre today. Thanks also to our parents who volunteered to help out today.
