ACETNS Talent Show 2024

The ACETNS Talent Show took place on Tuesday 21st May and what a show it was! Wow!

Huge congratulations to all the amazing acts that took part! Thank you for sharing your talents with us all – you were all brilliant.

This was the result of lots of work over April & May by the Staff Talent Show Committee and the very talented volunteer students who auditioned. The acts that were performing on the night were mentored by members of the committee in the lead up to the show.

There was such an amazing mixture of talents on display on stage on the night – from solo to group acts, singers, musical instruments, bands, hand percussion, card tricks, gymnastics & various types of dancing.

There was also a video of talents that couldn’t be performed on stage on the night played on the big screen. This included chess, cricket, football & badminton.

Beautiful art created by ACETNS students also decorated the walls of the hall.

What a creative school we have! It is great to see that there are so many varied interests amongst the student body. We are very proud of you all!

The show was hosted by our very own Daniel from 4th class who did a phenomenal job. Well done Daniel!

We had volunteer helpers from 6th class that were very professional on the night dressed in black working as crew – moving props and keeping the stage safe and performance ready.

The Junior Music Club choir opened the show by singing a song from the musical Annie Tomorrow.

The ACETNS Parents Association organised the lovely new backdrop and stage skirt which added to the sense of occasion on the night. It will be great to have this for school events moving forward – Thank you. There was also a raffle on the night with lovely prizes provided by the PA.

Another huge thank you goes to our amazing caretaker George who put the backdrop up bright & early on the morning of the show. We appreciate your dedication George!

We are lucky to have a very creative group of staff who ensured that the show ran smoothly on stage and behind the scenes throughout rehearsal & on the night! Bunting, lights, running order, introductions, cue cards, sound, backing tracks, props, production management, rehearsals, certificates, runners, photography, hall set up, instrument tuning & backstage supervision to name a few of the jobs!

Until next year!

Many thanks,

The Staff Talent Show Committee & helpers!
